DIY Centrifuge Training Machine

First thing in the morning I had computer coding class. This time we were only building Mindstrom.

Looking for a LEGO piece
Let's build!
Later we had lunch together, I was in charge of preparing it - we made spaghetti á la carbonarra and mushroom soup.
Let's start
DONE! DIG IN!
After lunch we had science class it was about centrifuge training machines and G-Force.
As you know astronauts must prepare themselves for the very strong G-Force acting upon them when they break from the Earth´s gravity or enter it back.

We learned how the centrifuge training machines work and we also made a small DIY model of the machine.

Here is my model:

Take a look how it works:

  • 2 cups or 250g of all purpose flour
  • 1/3+1/4 of a cup or 175g of sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. or 50g of unsalted butter

  1. Preheat the oven to 150C (around 300F)
  2. Line the muffin baking tray with muffin cups.
  3. After peeling the bananas, mash them well (with a fork or a blender).
  4. Mix the mashed bananas with sugar, all purpose flour, salt and baking soda. Add an egg (and cinnamon if you choose).
  5. Melt the butter and combine it with the mixture.
  6. Fill the prepared muffin cups with the dough mixture (like on the photo below).

10 reasons to play LEGO Marvel Super Heroes

Ok, so my Mom told me that if I want to play Lego Marvel Superheroes I need to write 10 reasons why she should let me play, so here they are:
  1. For the whole week I was banned from computer so I was waiting for the whole week to play.
  2. I didn't play Lego M.S. for a long time.
  3. I tried to finish all my homework yesterday (because there was a slight change of plans this week -  I got a modeling job ... and other stuff).
  4. I really like this game (really, really) oh! and FYI I got this game from my Polish Grandma.
  5. And altogether I was quite a "good boy" this week.
  6. Wait it is not done yet oh noooooo!, so ... Owen (my best friend) can not talk on hangout tonight sooooo I will be playing by myself.
  7. Ahhhhhhhhhh ... don't know ... golly! ... noooooooooooooooo!
  8. Ok, next - I played on the saxophone and piano.
  9. I really need to finish a mission in the game.
  10. Last one aaaaaaa, so I was good today?
Wait you say line number 7 is not a reason good enough.
Ok, so if you say that line 7 is not good then here is another reason - I wrote my blog post today - Yay!

My Christmas in Taiwan

Christmas is over (and even New Years)  but I want to write about what I did on Christmas .
Did you know that in Taiwan Christmas is not a holiday?
Every has to go work or to school. This year even my Dad had to go to office .
Polish Christmas lasts three days, from Christmas Eve (Wigilia) to December 26 .
For Wigilia we prepare 12 different dishes. Among others there are: my favorite wild mushroom soup (or  barszcz - beetroot soup), fish, pierogi (dumplings with sauerkraut and mushrooms) and many cakes. We don't eat meat on Wigilia.

A HUGE salmon
Pierogi, I made them

Polish potato-egg salad, Mom's specialty.
Walnut cake (no flour!)
Gingerbread cookies I made

But before we start eating we share Oplatek  (Christmas wafer) wishing everybody all the best.

Oplatek from Poland
After dinner it's time to open presents. That's of course what I was waiting for.

What is it ?!

A Chromebook13!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Two Jazz CD's Charlie Parker an Current Hits In Bossa!
After all the presents are have been open we go to church for midnight mass fortunately in Taiwan it is at 10p.m.

I was serving at the Mass
On the evening of Christmas day we went to my friend Owen's Christmas party. There were many people, that we did not know, at the party. I played Wii with other kids.

On the second day of Christmas my grandfather and grandmother from Taiwan came.
